Today I went and sang my new jam "More Than Want" at a fundraiser in Sherman Oaks, CA. After I sang I had an amazing conversation with a gentleman who runs a digital music label here in LA about the possibility releasing the single "More Than Want" with his label. ALL VERY EXCITING NEWS.

Palm Springs Pride

I got an email this morning from the entertainment director of Palm Springs Pride inviting me to perform at their festival November 7-8th, 2009. YAY!. I think I will write to the editor at Frontiers and let him know this too, maybe giving him more incentive to do a piece on the TimPermanent!

The more ships I send out, the more I see come back.

i have started liking this blogging thing. It seems a nice venue to list what up with me.
I would do a daily video blog but that is a lot of video blogging. I think i will do a weekly video blog so you can see me and i can then list my progress.
Yesterday I got a maybe from Frontiers about covering my show at The Viper Room on 9/26/09. So fingers crossed that i get a nice little editorial piece there- just putting it out in the universe that it goes well.

I know that I am a great light. I know that i deserve the best in this world. I will continue to try my best because thats all i can do and i owe myself at least that much.

Neil D Paris is an amazing astrologer who is helping me in many ways.

Apparently Mercury will be in retrograde from Sept 6th to the 29th so I can be aware that technology may give me trouble, that things may resurface from the past, that there are things that may need revisiting.

So..... I was amazingly productive today.

I am thinking to start a video blog. I think i can actually just embed video right here on to this blog and then you all can just watch me say what i'm thinking -with my quirkiness and all.

Its amazing. I realize that I can live my dreams simply by doing the necessary work. If come up with an idea and then a plan to execute its acquisition, then actually do the plan -I get what ever i want.

Tomorrow night is the Viper Room show!

The last few days have been quite a trip, in preparation and with life happening all around me.

I am in gratitude about all that has happened to get me to the place i am in at this time, whether or not things seemed good or bad as they were happening- the greater thing is that i get to be exactly where i am right now because of all of where i have been.

Gotta finalize the show disk today, and finish the staging of the opening song.

Have studio rehearsal at 4pm with Bob Esty - then the VIPER ROOM show is tomorrow!

Work

Sometimes when life is very hard - I just jump into work as hard as i can and hope not to feel what i am feeling.

I HATE BLOGGING!

I really, really hate blogging because i don't know what i should say or who will read it anyway.
But if i just do it for the sake of keeping it up and going then I shall see what will come from it.

I am very excited and nervous to play the Viper Room on Saturday. The show is better than all my previous shows and I have added a layer of costumes with the help of Robby Mason.

I hope you come and love it.

Promoting music online.

We are all very fortunate to be alive during at this time in history. The internet is an incredible dynamic outlet for any and all persons to access and/or share any kind of information.  When is the last time you went to a library?  

Music marketing is a tough subject. The idea is to figure out how to saturate the web with your name and or music and hope people will stumble across it and click through and buy a song on iTunes or Napster.  

Blogging is todays step toward internet saturation.  Tomorrow is anyone's guess.

THE BIG PLAN

From what I read, I glean.  And I have gleaned that in order to be successful one needs to have something specific they are reaching toward, a belief that they can attain that thing and a plan or a breakdown of what smaller goals one can reach that ultimately get them to their main goal.  

Today I am trying to breakdown the larger goal into smaller ones.  My ADD wants me to do everything but focus. 

So I blog to see what i need to do. Help me focus, Universe.
